Thinkin’ Hopin’ Waiting’
Watchin black
As you walk by in ya rags that signals
you are Black
Careless and free
There’s more to life than how the world demonstrates
Rags that say im black
But black written in all caps
Writing letters of power
Black power
To hide the bens and jags parked in ya garage
You don’t want to be seen as unreal
Anything other than black
so you Escape the real to be real
Only to turn up real fake.
